I give up

29 Jan

I’ve tried blogging so many times but have always been unable to become successful. This post won’t be too big. I just want to tell you that I am not blogging anymore. I have decided this because of some personal reason I wouldn’t like to share. So here it goes.

GAME OVER

If you have wanted a demonoid account, you can have one now.

Registrations for Demonoid are currently open. I don’t have any idea how long they will remain open but you should try demonoid even if you haven’t heard of it. Demonoid is one of the best torrent sharing websites I’ve ever come across. If you are late again for the open registrations, don’t lose hope. I can provide you with free demonoid invites.

Here is my post about Free Demonoid Invites

Demonoid is one of the best torrent sites I have ever come across. It is one of the best because it is open only to limited users and there are almost NO unseeded torrents there. Almost every torrent you can think of is present there.

But, there is one big problem, the registrations. Thanks to Pulkit Kaushik and his post, ‘Free demonoid Invites‘, I was able to get an account there. I am here to solve that problem by giving you free “INVITATION CODES” which you can enter and get a free account immediately. All I want from you is a thank you, asubscription to my RSS feeds and a tweet linking to this post (optional).

If you want the treasure the invitation code, just make a comment on this post with your real e-mail id (It is upto you if you want your e-mail shared or not) with a link to the tweet about this post (if you tweeted about it) and a message saying that you want the invite.

Users who Tweet about this post with the post’s link in the tweet and paste the link to the tweet as a proof in the comments will be higher on the priority list among the users who want the invites.

If this or any other of my posts has helped you, please help me by subscribing to this blog

Why Do I Blog?

12 Jan

I don’t know how to start this post, but, as far as I know I’ve been blogging for a while now, though, I’ve only got 11 Posts, 2 Pages and 21 Comments. I do know about thousands of other blogs out there that don’t get noticed too, so the question is Why do I still Blog?

For me, there is no quick answer to this question. As far as I know, it started with my wish to have a personal website which led to my googling for a free personal website stuff, due to which I came across an article about blogging. That article changed my life. It was a legen-wait for it-dary (in the style of Barney Stinson) moment in my life.

After the article, my blogging days started and first I set-up a blog at Blogger.com (too simple for me) and then at Tumblr.com (too colorful for me), and, then I came across where I was destined to be, WordPress, and since then I have been blogging here.

Originally, I just wanted to have a personal blog (for my daily life and sorts) but soon I realized that I wanted to explore more and interact with the blogging world and on the other hand, decided to put a limit on what I share and write. So, I started to use tags, links and at the same time I went to several blogs that I found interesting, and at the end of the day, I liked and commented on some posts and well, that’s how bloggers interact.

In this blogging journey of mine, I’ve realized many things. A blog is like a medium to share whatever I want to. A blog is like a piece of real estate on the Internet which keeps growing by the push of the Publish button.

Do you prefer to talk, text message, or a different communication method?

In 1876, the invention of telephone by Alexander Graham Bell revolutionized the way by which people communicate. Nowadays, lives without telephone or any other means of distant communication seems like stone age. I can’t even imagine one day minute without my cellphone in my hand. With time, new and better means of communication have been invented over the years.

WordPress promotes Regular Blogging

You might have read my previous post which was about my saying that I’ll post every day in 2011. That was my first resolution for 2011. Well, I didn’t post yesterday (1 Jan) so that breaks my resolution as early as it can.

Whatever, let’s just come to the point. This post isn’t meant to tell you about my resolutions and how early I broke them.

WordPress has taken the initiative to promote regular blogging by the name “The Daily Post“. They’ll be using this blog as a place to share blogging ideas and other tips for regular blogging.

This is what they have got to say as their first post

Here at WordPress.com we like blogs. We like bloggers. And more than anything else, we like bloggers who blog.

But one hard part of blogging is beyond the awesome tools you use. It’s the posting. Coming up with ideas, writing them down, or picking the right photos, can be quite the challenge. And then you need the courage to hit that Publish button.

As announced today, to help you we’re launching this experimental blog called The Daily Post. We will post every day here, hoping to inspire you to do the same.

We’ll have inspiring questions from Plinky.com you can re-use in your posts, insightful interviews with rock-star bloggers,  and fresh ways to think about blogging. We’re doing this to help build a community of people who want to be more active writers, bloggers, and creators.

More to come soon!

For now, subscribe to this blog and get ready to roll in 2011.

Well, this is too good. WordPress is slowly becoming the best blogging tools, services and more and more.

Wish you luck. Hope this Daily Post inspires other budding bloggers and they also blog daily.

I’m Trying to Post every day in 2011!

31 Dec

I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now.  I will be trying to post on this blog once a day / once a week for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

Signed,

Pranav Garg
